Day 1
Mekele to Hamed Ela
Descend from 2,200m to below sea level. Camp under the stars.

Day 2
Dallol & the salt flats
Explore the sulfur springs, then watch camel caravans load salt at sunset.

Day 3
Climb Erta Ale
Evening ascent to the crater rim. Sleep beside the glow of the lava lake.

Day 4
Return to Mekele
Long drive back to civilisation. Fly Addis.
